Our nearly 5 acre farm was a barren horse property 6 years ago and now it is becoming a very picturesque expression of our values. We practice permaculture which is a method of agriculture that uses organic principles and intelligent design to create spaces that are naturally sustainable. We have a small mixed farm of animals, medicinal plants, aromatic flowers, greenhouses, fruit & nut trees and vegetable gardens.

Heritage breeds of chickens (7 different breeds) roam the farm, Muscovy ducks splash in the pond, Nubian milk goats beg for an apple and Broad Breasted Bronze turkeys make a seasonal appearance. Dogs and cats are the organic pest control patrol, as deer need to be chased away from precious plants and rodents need to be controlled. We welcome WWOOFers to our farm year round, we always need a hand and enjoy meeting travelers passionate about organic agriculture from every corner of our planet.
